The Life of Eli: Month Three

Month three has been a fun one as we finally got into a rhythm of things where Elijah seemed to take notice of the world a little more clearly. It seemed like overnight he could lift his head higher and see things at a longer distance causing him to become a little more curious and aware of his surroundings.

At 10 weeks old, we officially moved out of newborn diapers and into size 1. Although we up'd the diaper size, he still fits comfortably in newborn clothes. I have a feeling that's going to change shortly though.

My favorite moments this month were having "conversations" with our talkative little monster. When the time was right, Elijah would look us in the eyes and babble away! It's one of the cutest things and I can't get enough of it.

Weighing in at 11.1 pounds this month, Elijah enjoys sitting up with help, loves when Daddy comes home from work, gets tickled when mom sings to him, and enjoys holding any type of fabric nearby.

Highlights this month were:

Seeing who the Panthers drafted for the 2017-2018 season.

Bath time!

Tummy time!

Napping and snuggling on Mommy.

Meeting Daddy's friends from work.

Wearing my cool new stunna' shades.

Turning double digits! 10 weeks old!

Going out and about with Mom and Dad.

Not fitting into my newborn hat anymore :(

Eating out for the first time! It was a burger place, of course.

BeachFest!

Celebrating Mother's Day!

Having Mom document all of my embarrassing faces.

Having Daddy perfect my curly mohawk.

Finding my hands and stuffing them in my mouth.

Watching cousin Keegan graduate pre-school!

Meeting Mommy's friends from work.

Entertaining Mom with all the new instagram filters.

It's been a fun month watching Elijah's personality grow. We can't get enough of this little boy of ours. We love him to pieces!
