The Life of Eli: Month 9

This month seemed to fly by as we celebrated Halloween and Thanksgiving. Elijah is officially on the move as he started to crawl at the end of November around Thanksgiving. It was an exciting time but the boy does not like to sit still anymore!

Overall we had a happy, healthy month. Highlights included:

Pajama day at school!

First Boo Bash party for Elijah.

What Up, Witches. Ready for Halloween!

Prepping for Christmas!

Gobble Til You Wobble

When you fill a house with 9 adults and 5 kids who haven't seen each other in a year, you get pure entertainment. No matter the house, no matter the location, Thanksgiving weekend is packed full of laughter, love, and moments we will never forget.

This year, our families met in Springville, TN where we spent 4 days in a lovely cabin in Buchanan Resort. Trips to the playground, campfires, crafts, and endless games of hide and seek filled our days as we hustled to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table.

Memorable moments this year were seeing Elijah crawl and interact with his cousins for the first time, having the power go out right before we started cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and surviving a 6-mile hike along "The Land Between the Lakes" at Fort Henry which was perceived to be much shorter before we started.

There is never a dull moment with this crew but I am beyond grateful for the time spent with my family each year. As always, can't wait until the next!
